More About Our Commercial Cleaning Services

What kind of experience does Clean Services Northwest have in the commercial property maintenance field? To give you an idea of Clean Services’ longevity, our first major account was Blockbuster Video, cleaning windows and carpets at all of their Oregon, Washington, and Northern California locations. That was in 1998. Since then, Clean Services Northwest has provided superior property maintenance to hundreds of companies and organizations in the region. Leading international companies, such as Nike; world-class universities, such as Lewis and Clark and The University of Oregon; venerable property management firms, such as Kin Living, Mainlander, and American Building Management; and many city, county and state governments all rely on Clean Services Northwest for their property maintenance needs.

One facet of property cleaning and maintenance in which Clean Services Northwest is proud to be a leader is in high rise window cleaning. While it is by no means all we do, it is our claim to fame, or feather in our cap, if you will. If you look at the Portland skyline and the buildings that shape it, at one or many times during the past 22 years we have hung from the sides of most of them cleaning windows. We perform the great majority of our high rise work in a bosun’s chair, preferring the efficiency and safety it offers compared to other methods. Word of our expertise seems to have spread, as recently we have been frequently contacted by architectural firms to provide input on anchor points and other technical information. This work is certainly not for everyone. Clean Services Northwest is fortunate to have a skilled, experienced, safe crew that we depend on. Simply put…they are the best.

While high rise window cleaning work may be more exciting, our ground/low rise window cleaning crew is equally skilled and significant to our winning team. If the high rise crew are the quarterbacks on the squad, the ground crew is the offensive line…getting it done in the trenches. Often thankless, rarely glorified, but critical to the success of the team. Our ground/low rise crew routinely works with ladders, lifts, short poles, long poles, water-fed poles, and other types of specialty equipment to get the job done safely and correctly. The work is often physically challenging (if you’ve maneuvered a 40-foot ladder for a day, you know), and requires thinking on one’s feet to solve problems. Fortunately, our crew is up to the challenge. Whether inside or out, our ground/low rise crew has one goal in mind: completing the job safely and to your satisfaction.

Is there anything more oddly satisfying than freshly pressure-washed concrete? For you…perhaps; but for us, it ranks right at or near the top! Clean Services Northwest has invested significantly in the latest and greatest pressure washing equipment and we love putting it to work! Hot water capabilities, water reclamation equipment, an obscene amount of hose, and just about every tip you can imagine. We’re ready to tackle your projects. We pressure wash drives, walks, the sides of buildings, roofs, fleets of vehicles, you name it! We even pressure wash from bosun’s chairs while repelling and/or aerial lifts. If you can dream it, we can take four or five thousand pounds per square inch of water to it (safely and responsibly, of course).

Speaking of flowing water, are the gutters on your building(s) functioning as they should? If so, probably not for long around here. Thanks to our climate and all of the lovely trees that we live amongst, gutters generally require annual attention with regard to cleaning. You’re in luck, gutter cleaning is another Clean Services Northwest scope of work. We hand scoop them, minimizing the mess, and we use ladder standoffs, ensuring no damage is done to the gutters or your building. We always rinse any mess created by the cleaning process, but we offer detailing service, or whitening, if needed. This is sure to provide a noticeable facelift to your façade.

So the outside is looking fantastic. The windows are shiny, the gutters are clear and clean, the walkways are bright and crisp. What do you say we go in and take a look at those carpets?
